Here is a stallion that needs no introduction to competition horse breeders in the UK. Ranked 3rd by the World Breeding Federation as an event sire, he consistently produces athletic trainable horses that go to excel in all disciplines.

This comes as no surprise when you look at KUWAIT himself. Neat, correct conformation is coupled with beautiful limbs and the elevated, athletic paces we are more used to seeing in modern day warmbloods. As a racehorse he proved very tough and consistent running 13 times and, under the old H.I.S. scheme, was a winner at Newmarket of both premiums and super premiums.

Successful eventing progeny are in abundance. The most famous SLEEP LATE won individual silver at the 2000 Sydney Olympics for Germany in the 3 Day Event. RITZY PITZY, SARNLLYS HELENA, MID DAY SUN and HIGH ROBINS are all advanced.

Consistent dressage winners include CHILTERN BEECH (157 points and DRENCHWORTH CHIEFTAN (120 points), while in the show ring, KUWAIT’s children are equally as impressive. GULF CRISIS is one of the most prolific winning Small Hunters of recent years, while KUBLA KHAN flies the flag in the lightweights, and MYSTIKO, BEECH BAY, and PENARTH BLUE STEEL ensure that KUWAIT is well represented in the heavy weight divisions. All are county winners in their own right and regular visitors to the Horse Of The Year Show at Wembley.

This is a horse for the discerning breeder. At 21 years of age, his time at stud is limited. He is a highly reliable sire to produce horses that look good enough to win in the show ring with the talent and movement to reach the highest echelons in eventing. His fertility is excellent and represents amazing value for money.
